You hear a lot about the importance of eating balanced meals to be healthy but what does that even mean? In this first class of this 3 part series (balanced breakfast, lunch and dinner), we will break down general terms you need to understand for creating balanced meals (i.e. fats, carbohydrates and protein), go over what a balanced meal looks like (proportions of fats, carbohydrates and protein) and create easy, healthy and balanced breakfast options. This will be a light hearted, exploratory and fun class that is designed for both adolescents and adults.
